This is just a hunch, but I bet your arms are feeling a bit neglected.
So often, I see my dance students put a lot of time and effort into mastering
their steps and footwork, which is great. The problem is that they don't spare any time
to learn how to incorporate the arms into their dancing in a way that looks natural.
If all you were to do is footwork and steps on the dance floor, you would probably look like you were
Irish dancing. Which is kinda cool and very hard (I've tried it). But since we're talking about Salsa dancing,
you would look pretty ridiculous if you didn't use your arms while dancing.
Because most dancers don't use their arms in a natural way while dancing,
this topic is worthy of discussion.
But instead of discussing it, I've actually made a video for you.
The trick I teach will show you how to look natural with just a slight arm motion.
It's super easy and only takes a little bit of practice.
But it's well worth it because you will immediately look more natural.
